You really must see The Story of Stuff with your children. It is very eye opening and informative about how we can stop the waste that we contribute to and how our very lives can improve and the lives of others can also improve. We learned that 99% of consumed products are disposed of!!
But it's more than just recylcing, it's changing the way we see things. Many people work so they can buy more stuff or pay for the stuff they've already purchased and then the cycle begins all over again.
Trust me, this video is very educational and the whole family should watch it!!
